What is Your Destiny?

Author: Gary Simpson

If I were to ask you this simple question, could you give an answer to me in a clear and precise way?

What is your destiny?

If you are like most people you will probably struggle to answer. That is why most people are confused about their lives.

Think about this. Were you born to be "John, the Post Office employee?" Or "Mary, the supermarket check-out lady?"

Now, I am not denigrating these jobs. They offer great employment opportunities for all sorts of people. But, what about you? Does your employment satisfy your professional dreams, goals, desires and ambition? Does it suit your natural talent? If so, great! If not, what are you doing about it?

Are you content being a square peg in a round hole? What is your destiny? Are you marching towards it? Are you going after it - even in a small, part-time manner? Or are you static?

Don't be one of those people who get to the end of their life wondering what might have been. That is what the man in the story "The Power of Choice" does. It is so sad when he realizes what might have been...

You have a destiny. It's time to start getting on with it.

Please don't live a life of frustration and regret filled with thoughts of what might have been, because you don't have to. Start now. Your destiny awaits you.
